It began with one urn, made for someone we loved.
When we lost someone dear, the choices we were offered felt cold — mass-produced, anonymous, made to be hidden away. We wanted something different: an object that could sit in the home with quiet dignity, hold a story, and bring a little comfort each time it caught the light. So we made one ourselves.
That first piece — turned slowly, sanded by hand, finished over many evenings — became the seed of everything that followed. Friends asked for their own. Then strangers. What started at a single workbench grew, carefully and without hurry, into the studio Sentimentum is today.
We still work the same way. Every urn and keepsake is made to order, shaped by the same pair of hands, using honest materials we're proud to put our name to. Nothing is rushed; nothing leaves the studio until it feels right to send. We think a tribute deserves that kind of patience.
